This year's situation is extremely grim.
Spring is already sent to the kingdom of seclusion
Was blocked for a long time
Breaking through the barriers of time
Unveil the pole uprising in the backyard
Make the loneliness of early summer colorful
Well-known and obscurity came to cheer
Busy performance of an unknown flower show
Yellow, white, orange, and bright purple
To make the garden where the foot is forbidden
The flowers don't care about the cruelty of the
disaster outside
Self-giving and fulfilling the rise and fall of life
Thank you for this colorful of new crown
Erased the number and sorrow of the new coffin

Xing Chu Wang is a poet from Fuzhou, China. He has published over 10 volumes of collected poems, columns and essays. He was part of a study group (that included Dr. Charles Egan) that produced Report on the Poetry and Inscriptions at the Angel Island Immigration Station, published February, 2004, by the California Department of Parks and Recreation and the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation. The report carried out research on the classification, interpretation and translation of newly-discovered poetry.
