We are proud to present a short video by filmmaker Jordan Fong recapping the highlights of the Grand Reopening of the Immigration Station on February 15, 2009. In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage month, the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation and the Angel Island State Park held a poetry reading at the historic U.S. Immigration Station, Angel Island on Sunday, May 17, 2009. Poems were read by Danita Rodriguez, Maria Sakovich, Greg Marutani, William Poy Lee, Charles Egan and Dr. Tom Peters.
